Aziforcast, 3 year old filly by El Nino opened her 2015 account on 18 January, winning at Turfway Park, USA by 4 1/2 lengths over 1600m, giving her back to back wins, having closed 2014 on a winning note for her sire, with her 5th win at Turfway Park, leading all the way to win by 6 Lengths in the 1600m Claiming on 31st December, 2014.

This is She (3 year old filly by EL NINO led all the way to win by 4 1/2 lengths, never challenged over the 1200m Claiming at Tamp Downs, USA last week. She has won 4 of her last 5 races, including two at Gulfstream. Her race record is 17 starts: 7-1-2.

DE JORGE recently demolished her quality opposition, winning her 5th STAKES race last week.
The brilliant mare won the Copa Front Stage (L), 1300m at La Riconada by 4.5 lengths, after bolting from the gate and leading all the way,
defeating winner of seven, FAST DIAMOND, in the slick time of 1:17.92secs.
The dominating win comes off a previous start victory at Stakes level in the Copa Pensilvania (L), 1300m.
The powerfully proportioned sprint machine has won 9 of her 11 starts, five times at Stakes level.

Black Type son of EL NINO, Senor Rain broke a 1400m Track Record in Californian yesterday, running 1:22.42, in super-fast sectionals, taking his wins to a total of 7 wins from 1100m-1400m.
His race record boasts 29 starts, finishing in the top three 20 times. Four placings were at STAKES level, and defeats at Group level in the Gr1 Santa Anita Derby (1800m) and Gr3 El Camino Real Derby (1800m), indicated he was never going to run the Derby distance.
Of his 7 wins, he won twice at 2 years and STAKES placed 4 times at 2 and 3 years, racing at the elite levels against several eventual Kentucky Derby contenders.

25th FEBRUARY, 2014

Our first Two Year Olds by CHANGEINTHEWEATHER had their first Barrier Trials at Doomben yesterday, and both passed their Barrier Certificates.  They were very sensible, and are learning very quickly.

CHANGEINTHEFORTUNE, out of Hazy Heights ran extremely well, jumping first in the 840m Trial, and leading to the last 150m.  He was headed, fought back, then eased to second place by 3/4 length and beating the rest of the runners by 3 lengths.  Great effort, and fitter for the outing!

Enemy's Defeated, out of She is a Lady, also ran a good trial, finishing 4th, and learning a lot, as well as benefiting his fitness levels.

11th FEBRUARY, 2014

CHANGEINTHEWEATHER (USA) commenced his appearance on the First Season Sire list, with his first 2 year old winner  yesterday.

Cyclone Kan led all the way to a resounding victory in the MAGIC MILLIONS QTIS SALE  17-18 QTIS TWO-YEARS-OLD MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000m) at Townsville yesterday, finishing the last 600m in 0:34.69 on the Dead 5 rated track.

The 2 year old brown gelding from Aleysa Kan jumped fast from the barrier and drew away  to win easily by 3.5 lengths.  Trained by Lyle Wright at Mackay,  he impressed  connections  early on, winning a jump out against experienced horses by 30 lengths, and his greenness in the straight suggests he is just learning how to race.

Cyclone Kan is only the third runner for the immaculately bred  2 Year Old GROUP 1 Winner, CHANGEINTHEWEATHER,  who was imported from the USA to Australia  in 2010, covering a book of 82 mares in his first Australian stud season at Merlo Downs Stud, Rockhampton.

EL NINO (STORM CAT – Bay Harbor) has attained the extraordinary strike of  70% Winners to Runners, in addition to a phenomenol BLACK TYPE win by his 3 year old daughter, DE JORGE in a BLACK TYPE International mares sprint race last weekend. She is pictured

A  lovely, strong mare, 16.2hh, she is now the winner of 4 races from 7 starts.

EL Nino reached a 70% strike rate when Heart to Me won her maiden at Churchill downs on the weekend.
